She wasn't just overweight.
She was obviously clinically obese. Which means scientifically proven to be unhealthy due to excess weight (in the form of fat)

In this world, a good roast is better than intelligence is. As evidenced by this post :v
Seriously, being unhealthy isn't something to be proud of... being proud of things you do good is, but becoming supportive of bad habits is something you shouldn't do.
