Can you please try to understand that some people may enjoy something even if it is mainstream? I'm not trying to a start an Internet argument or calling your opinions wrong in anyway. I just didn't understand your opinion on the series and the discussion turned into a broader reason of subject. To insult a fandom because it's mainstream is kind of mean. A lot of people enjoy the series whether it's mainstream or not, overrated or not. I understand that fandoms have a lot of new fans join because it was turned into a movie and it heightens popularity but it doesn't mean older fans like myself belittle them because of the fact they watched the movie first. It's good that people enjoy literature in any form. Television or movie or book or e reader.
