Right but see from this view we know there's a at out. But from the cats view, he doesn't know there's a way out. To him it still looks like he's trapped

I wish I could like this a billion times because I agree outright @deviledapples. Like all these people are basically trying to justify their rudeness and societal discrimination against fat people by saying "it's for their health". But let's be real. We all know you don't care about anyone's health; they just wanna seem like a great concerned person because they know what they're saying is hurtful. A PERSONS MEDICAL ISSUES ARE NOT YOUR CONCERN UNLESS YOURE CLOSE TO THAT PERSON. Do you assume every bald person has cancer? Then don't assume fat people are overweight and unhealthy. If they are and you're not close to them, it's not your concern. So all these random pics of people on the Internet- those people don't give a fuck about their health. They're just shaming them. Also, like the above user said, it's about loving yourself and being proud. So leave fat people the fuck alone instead of covering up your bigotry and pretending that you're concerned about their health.

You'll all say I'm being "so Tumblr" and stuff and don't get me wrong that I think Scarlett is so talented and beautiful. However, I think it's important for an actual Asian actress to play Mulan. A little Chinese or other SouthEast Asian girl out there may watch a white-washed Mulan and think to herself "I can't even play a person of my culture. I'll never be a princess." I'll tell you how I know this. I'm Indian, and for the longest time, I thought "No one would want to see someone like me with my own show or being funny on TV. I'm not pretty and I'm not white." But then, I started seeing Mindy Kaling become popular, and let me tell you it gave me so much hope and I felt better about the possibilities for me in life. So, nothing against Scarlett or the guest AT ALL. I personally just disagree and think a Chinese person should play Mulan. Representation is SO IMPORTANT. Sorry this is so long and thank you for listening.

Tbh I don't agree with this at all. Now I would never judge someone, comment on them or be rude to them based on their looks, EVER. But unless someone is asexual, I think for most people including myself, you need some physical attraction there too. Just because you want to be physically attracted to someone doesn't make you shallow, as long as thats not your ONLY factor for a potentially happy relationship

True but I think it's that if the demand for puppy mill dogs goes down, then those mills, which put the poor dogs in horrible, unsanitary, unhealthy conditions, will also have to stop breeding that way. But like you mentioned, many dogs who are in puppy mills now and in the future will face the consequences and likely be put down. It's really just a terrible system :( (anyway sorry if I explained that weirdly)

I don't know this seems sorta shitty to me. Not as much about the trust part, since most people don't have that. But more because now this kid is afraid his dad will hate him if he is with someone who he probably likes. And I'm sure his father is a great dad, but instead of stifling his happiness, he should support his son if it doesn't work out. I mean his son is an adult and knows what he's getting into so he should leave him be but support him.

Ladies take notice 16 comments

This honestly makes me laugh so much. The fact that guys like you think women do everything for you. HA. Sure, some women may dress because they want the attention of men, and that's ok and it's their choice, but Many women dress BECAUSE IT MAKES THEM FEEL GOOD like why does no one get that. So before you tell ladies to "take notice" why don't you notice that they don't dress or do things they do for your satisfaction.

Nope it doesn't. You do you and if someone who really deserves you comes along, he or she should respect you and your choices (one of which is to be sexy)

Social experiment gone wrong 21 comments

I think this is really clever! The point of the experiment was to show that guys really only complimented these girls to (probably) get in their pants, but when the girl didn't immediately go gaga for the guy, and actually showed that they are confident and happy with themselves, the guy was suddenly turned off and couldn't even respect a girl who respects herself.

(continued) clothing or whatnot. Just lay off; this is exactly what people are protesting; judgement of others on something rather than their personality.

See I agree with the comment about the job because most companies try to assure EVERYONE who come through the door is professionally dressed. A DISagree with the statement about marriage though, and here's why. Are straight people forced to dress a certain way to have the right to be married? No. Wether they're dressed casually, professionally, classy, whatever, try can walk into a courthouse and get a marriage license. LGBTQ people want the same right and they should be looked upon as less or not "respectable" enough to have the same rights as straight people because they're wearing something "flashy". And even then, this is just a terrible stereotype. Obviously many in the community don't dress that way and if they do, who cares? Plus, there are countless posts on this website about wearing black and stuff like that, people don't say "tone it down guys." And lastly, if it was a straight white woman or something most people likely wouldn't say a word if she was wearing neon pink cloth

Well don't undermine feminism just because a few of them got so offended by something that seems petty to you and I. While I half agree that their actions were necessary, please don't generalize all feminists working to increase equality

Well actually these days (especially in public schools, I'm not sure about universities) the class is oriented toward either state tests or other exams, so sometimes the learning experience isn't all it should be because it's geared toward acing tests and not really teaching students.

Excuse me? I'm not saying men are worth any less than women. I think we are completely equal and both genders should be treated with respect. I respect men and know that there is good and bad in both genders. I'm just saying that in many countries worldwide and in countless different ways, sometimes womens' lack of rights and respect and freedom can result in serious issues for them. I never said I was a feminist and I am NOT a sexist. I believe we should be EQUAL but pointed out the ways we weren't.

Maybe but women are persecuted MUCH more worldwide as well in countless ways.. Men aren't. And we must admit women are definitely portrayed more sexually than men in the media. Plus there are countless studies showing that women are treated and paid differently in the work place. And also, how often do men have to be afraid when they walk around alone? How often are they "asking for" sexual harassment when they wear something? How often are they trafficked into sex slavery or taken as child brides. How often are they forced to stay at home because theY can't drive a car. How often are women's strengths (both mentally and physically) looked at like less even if they are amazing? Women in the world are literally PHYSICALLY and mentally and emotionally affected every day simply for being a women.
Men have difficult lives too, but being a "Ken" is NOT as difficult as being a "Barbie".

I respect that she's built herself up from the ground in her career but her older material was much less offensive, and even empowering. Her last days she was making distasteful jokes about celebrities and putting so many different groups down, insulting them and all they work for. Again, I hope she rests in peace but from an outsider's eye she seems like a very rude, judgemental who changed her style (for the worse) just to keep the spotlight. However my condolences go out to her friends and family.
