I always find it funny that MAGAs are totally okay with Trump being pals with two honest to God Communists.

100% agree. People here love to equivocate and "whatabout" everything without actually looking at the context, cultural or otherwise.

It's not "it can be said" about T'Challa though. His blackness is integral to his character. Heimdalls race is not. I get what the picture is trying to say, but it's doing it in bad faith and intentionally misrepresenting the issue.

I know you're supposed to keep beating until the ref pulls you off, but I hate the MMA thing of punching your unconcious opponent.

A big character trait of Black Panther is his race.

We've never had a lame duck president be so loud and proud as Donald Trump. I really, truly doubt he has any understanding of what happens around him on a daily basis. It's well known that he gets his foreign policy ideas from Fox News, so much so that he will tweet out his new policy minutes after from jamoke on Fox says it. He has surrounded himself with the meanest, cruelest people he could find and just let's them govern. He likes the spotlight and hates government.

It's a rhetorical question. Theres a long, horrible history of black boys being treated as adults in this country.

I forgot where I read it (it may have been here, honestly), but for some people respect means allowing them to treat you badly.

No, they are real. I've read a couple of her pieces and they yo-yo from "I'm a strong, independent woman who don't need no man," to, "I'm so sex starved I'd literally fuck a cucumber." I'm as feminist and sex-positive as they come, but this lady is nuts.

It's a fictional character who's a mermaid. Her race is the least fantastical part of the whole thing.

That's what we need, a handful of billionaires buying up huge plots of land and "protecting" it.

You can't really "force" a bot to do anything, and you really can't have it write anything that resembles coherence. They machine learn, so even if they watched 1000 hours of something, they wouldn't have a wide enough to make anything like this. Most likely, it would just repeat the most common words and small phrases.

It's one of the few really solid sci-fi shows out there. I usually don't like hard sci-fi but it blends in the human element pretty well. Plus, the authors are from my hometown.

It turns out that social pressures for men are intense and negatively affects them. That's a pretty major part of feminism, actually.

Mitch McConnell is the Senate Majority Leader and has the power to determine what will or will not be sent for discussion to the floor of the Senate. He essentially in charge of what laws will be discussed and passed because he's in charge of the largest portion of the upper legislative house, and his Republican colleagues will always do what he says. If he says they won't vote to discuss a topic like DACA, then they won't.

About 5 years ago I drove 12 hours to San Diego to see a Padres game only for it to be canceled after 2 innings because of bees.
