It wouldn't fit well into American cardboard walls

Frankly, it annoys the hell out of me to. I mean, windows have a latch and a handle. You hold the latch, turn the handle and open the window. Not on modern windows! You hold the latch, turn the handle and the damn thing falls out of its frame towards you stopping an inch away from your face. Wanna open it? Simply hold the latch, turn the handle the wrong way, press on the window frame, jam your fingers in the crack and find the hidden latch, taking care not to squeeze your fingers. I mean, windows worked. These things don't! I wanted fresh air. If I'd wanted a god dammed puzzle I'd have bought a Rubik's cube!
