Indeed. Water. Good is important- but in the hierarchy of needs water beats food. From basic survival to industry and more water is a critical and valuable resource. The humanitarian and economic benefits of commanding endless water supplies are insane. That is before we even get to the potentials for space travel. Generating water thy can be used to sustain crews, potentially provide oxygen, or be refined to fuel, could unlock potential for long distance long term manned space exploration, habitation, and of course terraforming. Even without an atmosphere, placing water on mars could unlock long term research, even habitation. Being able to generate water on command could be used as a way to add mass to help control the speed and flight of space craft without needing fuel or contrived courses for slowing down. The time to travel between stellar points could be greatly shortened and fuel required could be cut down simply by increasing the mass of a craft and eliminating the need for..

A cubic meter of water can easily weigh a ton. Dropped from the sky or appearing as a flood water can cause tremendous destruction that is very difficult to engineer against- especially in infinite amounts. The ability to change shorelines and flood low laying areas, ruin or deny land, create havoc with electronics and power systems, and well… any semi sealed chamber from a car to a plane or submarine or bunker or home can become a death chamber when filled with water. Of garlic bread do have certain advantages in some cases. Garlic bread doesn’t tend to flow in the way water does, and you could theoretically place enough garlic bread in a space so that the weight and density could create diamond like crystal or even a singularity perhaps. It’s easier to control weight distribution with garlic bread, and you can form things like ma made islands and such. I’m going to have to pick water i think, though I will say if the person with infinite garlic bread and the person with infinite water team up… man. They could do some crazy stuff.
