This was during the depression and the mother admitted she did it to try and save her kids from starvation and she was pregnant at the time and didn’t know how she feed that one either. But Rae said The truth was the mother sold them for $2 so their mother could have bingo money and because the man her mother was dating did not want anything to do with the children.

Rae and Milton went together because when the family who took Rae was leaving Militon began to cry and they decided to take him as well. Rae also said the family that took her kept her as a slave not a daughter. She was abused and kidnapped and raped.
She found her mom when Rae was 21 Her mother expressed no remorse or regret. And she expressed no love.
Milton was abused from day one from the family.
Lana sadly died of cancer before the siblings met back up. So they know nothing of what her up bringing was.
Sue was on her death bed when they met up when asked about meeting her siblings she said she was happy and loved them.
When asked about her mother she said she should burn in hell.
The unborn child the mother was pregnant with was also sold. His name was David he said he was properly adopted to a good family. Apparently he was riddled with bed bug bites and very sickly when paid for.
Their mother was on public relief for many years claiming to still have all kids.
Their father saw David once but never again.
