Ok but listen that sign yeah I know you see the sign. Yeah that sign was here when I got here I swear. It must of been for the OTHER dog that was in here before me. Honestly you can give me treats. I am hit as a fiddle. I swear. I just happen to ate big bones. Look how about just a kraft cheese single Huh?? Or maybe just a sliver of pie??

Sometimes it really isn't the owners fault. My whole life we had lean fit animals. Except 1. FatCat named after the villian from Rescue Rangers lol. She was the runt at birth still had a baby face but weighed a ton. It was like a golf ball on top of a beach ball. We did everything we could to get her to lose weight. Limit her food. Exercise her. I even made her do sit ups lol she could out run every single cat we had all skinny. Still looked like a beached whale.
She had to have a gland problem because no matter what we did she stayed over pleasently plump. It was so bad I had to clean her after she go to the bathroom.
All the vets would say is she is over weight. That cat lived on a scoop of diet food a day and still fat as a pig.
Sadly she began to have seizures. But she did make it to old age. She was 14 when she died.

I'm sorry to hear that. See it's one thing to do what you did which was try your best to keep your pet at a healthy weight level despite whatever issues they might have, but it's another to just never take your pet on walks/let them do exercise or simply just feeding them whatever all of the time. I just see it as another form of mistreatment.
I understand. Just wanted to say hay some of us try hard to get their heavy furry babies skinny lol.
Now my land lord is bad she has 2 HIGHLY over weight dachshund. One ACTUALLY gets rug burn from his belly dragging on the ground. The other a female lost a nipple because it rubbed on the ground and blistered and fell off.
She puts grease from meat she cooks on top of dry food food which she mixes with wet dog food. And she feeds them treats all through out the day. Only time they exercise is when they go out side in her back fenced area to poop.
Now she is old but seriously she could at least not feed them like that. We even talk to her about it and she says we'll they won't eat their food if I don't. I try to explain leave only the dry food out and trust me they will get hungy enough they will eat it. But she just keeps on. I don't press it because well she is our landlord.
