not true; ignoring throwing stuff away, I've spat out or thrown up literally a ton of food.

Technically no, as some of the food you eat is actually incorporated into your body when metabolized.

My economics teacher told us to never use a credit card to buy groceries because when the bill shows up what you bought is gone.
