I read books, go for walks, discuss theism, watch videos debunking pseudo-science (AKA Fake Science), code, go to school, drink chocolate milk... Not the most exciting but I enjoy it.

Minds are changed. That's why Atheism is rising in the US. That's why a large portion of Europe is Atheistic. The very fact that I live in a secular country is proof that things are changing. Also I enjoy debating things and I just happen to be passionate about my Atheism. My goal isn't to convert people - it's to make them think. If they convert then it's just a bonus. Converting takes several months - sometimes years to do and a few conversations won't change that.
Regardless, I mostly code as a hobby to get a... Well, to be fair it is a bit more than a little pocket money but I've only ever really spent any of it on a few books.
I really love coding too. It's just a glorious thing to do and I absolutely love every aspect of it. Well, except those times when it just decides to derp and I get frustrated and have to stop myself from breaking my laptop. I've been getting into creating Machine Learning AI and it's pretty fun.
In all my years I've converted a total of one person. I've gotten rid of the literal translations part for 400+... but only one has actually given up and basically said "lol god?" (I indirectly screwed him over right after because I wanted to walk home alone... which was over 13 miles and didn't tell anyone... was at a B-day party and got chewed out for not bringing pot).
Discussing it IS fun though, no doubt... just don't expect anyone to actually convert... it's the biggest brainwashing scam the world has ever seen and it has no intention of going away when society is basically built around it. NE america kind of tried... but they needed an excuse to eradicate native Americans... weee.... 14th century again.

I'm from the South and Atheism is still on the rise here. Religion had one major advantage in the past - information. They could control what people learn and ensure that they remain ignorant and obedient. Not anymore. Times are changing and religion dies when knowledge grows. Very, very few people can know about science and still be theistic - because the two are total opposites. Science and religion will always be at war and science is the only one who can win - in fact it HAS won. The fact that I am here discussing this is proof of it.
I used to think that information would win... but then we got Trump. It's great so much information is available, but I realized the majority in the south simply don't care. They want to hear the same shit over and over and live in their regressive bubble world. They actively choose that.
Also, there actually isn't a war between science and theism. Science explains the how but it can never explain the why. Even the freaking Catholic Church has recognized this and said they are all about the "why" instead. Actually they have a great observatory and contribute a lot.. they are pretty cool on a lot of issues. I should have specified Southern Baptist.
It can explain why - we just don't know it yet. Sure, Christians can say they know why... But can Jews, Muslims, Pagans, and so many other people can as well. But none of them are right. None of them know. They are simply pretending they do while science admits they don't. What is known here is the God of the Gaps Fallacy. my point is that it's a useless argument so it's best to give it up and let them live in their fairytale... if 10% need it to actually behave morally it's an overall positive even if so many use it as justification for immoral acts.

.....that's not what I said like... at all. My argument was if they were going to remain willfully ignorant no matter what you prove or do, better some of them behave morally out of ignorance than acting like the rest. Of course i'd prefer if we could actually educate every individual so we don't have to deal with stupidity... but back to the first thing I told you... it's too idealistic. Just wait youngling... the world is stupider than you can possibly imagine now.
When I do job interviews, I wait until the end to ask the interviewee what they do for fun. I wait until we've all stood up and they've thanked me and they're gathering their things. When I ask them and they can't come up with something instantly, or if they say they just "hang out with friends," then they're an alcoholic or some other kind of addict and I never hire them, even if they aced the interview.
