Yep because if you don't know where edible stuff grows and something happens to your primary food supply (no stores for example) how will you survive? And people actually think they would survive an apocalypse.

Because teenagers laugh at strange things, its a fact of life I suppose. I heard a group of them lose it at a store over a farting toy recently.

When I was younger, probably about 12, pineapples came up in conversation with my mum, she would not believe me that they don't grow on trees, this was before we had internet but luckily Encarta came to the rescue!
