This is why I'm slowly, but surely, teaching myself ASL. I want a world without barriers, where no one feels isolated, and everyone is accepted

Now I'm here, tearing up and smiling at my phone

So I have known ASL for quite sometime now because I was slowly losing my hearing when I was 12 years old. Due the Doctors and all I have "normal" hearing and After seeing a video like this I am thankful that I can now hear because not everyone is patient with the people like me.

Actually cried. As a Turk, (the country where this video was filmed) I'm so proud, because I know that hearing-impaired people are mostly at a huge disadvantage in Turkey... :')

I shouldn't be crying in class, but it's too late now..
