I mostly lurk but I do love this site. Very disappointed now that it's flooded with ad content but love the memes and love reading everybody's witty comments! I'm not much of an internet adventurer so I really appreciate what this community has together :)

Lol! Basic Psychology: If a person is accusing others - especially their partner - of being unfaithful, then they are usually the cheater (or want to be)! Self-projection of thought pattern. If I think this way or act this way then everyone else must think or act this way. They have no understanding that their behaviour or thought pattern is an aberration to everyone else around them. Ie - I've done it therefore so must have everyone else! If she's still at your church @mrscollector , feel very bloody smug every time you look at her! XD

Oh my gawd, I was literally just thinking about your spinifex pigeon post and I started thinking about our Rose-crowned Fruit doves here (did a trip with the CSIRO to catch and place trackers on them and other native Top End birds). I nearly fell over when I saw the pic thinking this was one, XD. Not the same by a long shot but very similar colours initially that I started to suspect I might be psychic, hahaha!

Spinifex grass is also very bloody painful!! When it stabs you, it gives you a sharp stinging burning feeling for ages. Sharp enough and tough enough to go through your jeans. These birds and that grass take me straight back to my childhood :)

I'm very lucky to be living in the only part of Australia that doesn't have community-based transmission of the virus (Yet!!). Everyone here who has it was travelling overseas and are in enforced lock down. We have full border closure too via police and military so hopefully the virus stays clear of us for a while longer. Hoping everyone else here is doing good and hoping any of you who are in iso aren't going too stir-crazy!
