"Cocaine kills" is a pretty bold statement. Theses figures are a bit rough, but pretty much accurate: (Def: "users" have consumed an unknown number of times last 30 days) 1 in 40 heroine users dies of an overdose, 1 in 360 cocaine users and 1 in 1700 alcohol, users. Keeping in mind that many, if not most overdoses of illegal drugs are directly caused by an unknown purity of the drug, that makes cocaine comparably not that much more dangerous than alcohol. I mean I agree with you, there is no such thing as a lethal overdose of weed. This being said, let's not demonize drugs that are not our choice.
This is really true. I've used it for a long time. It really is a drug that makes your mind and eyes dull for the world. I'm not saying it shouldn't be used, but it shouldn't be used most of the time.

Gonna call false on this one. I know people who got this way on pot and I know people who are perfectly fine doing it recreationally. The people who get this way are addictive or unambitious personalities naturally, if not pot they would find something else...alcohol, food, even video games. An addictive personality does not know moderation and will find something to turn into an excessive vice.
When he says its worse than harder drugs, I think it is that the effect is subtle and kids think its not hurting them. Harder drugs, you know you are doing something destructive.
Honestly it is the same with alcohol. I like a drink, but it damages you body and slows you down. It's really not something teens should be consuming.
Two major flaws in his logic here: 1. he probably doesn't know anyone doing "hard drugs" on a regular base, cause they are not likely to attend school, so this "worse than hard drugs" is just completely baloney. 2. All he knows are the kids who apparently do pot, which are automatically those who do too much to early. He would never know it of the kids who use it in moderation. Thats like judging alcohol from some winos in the gutter. A teacher should know better than this. What a dope.
