Coming from a country that doesn't tip, I feel bad because the first time I had food in a restaurant overthere I didn't realise I had to tip and left. I've since been told that this is incredibly rude. Tbh I think it's rude that I should have to pay then expected to pay a little extra and considered an asshole when I don't even though it is technically optional.
In Canada , most of our servers make more than their daily wage in tips.... Some provinces even have a lower minimum wage for people in hospitality service , because they makes much on tips.
